Do you create the cartoons of family faces yourselves?

Yes. As lifelong fans of Calvin and Hobbes, we try to emulate Watterson’s style in our cartoon faces. Much of the other artwork (for the box and so forth) is generated by AI.

How do you build the actual game board, cards, pieces, etc.?

We use a combination of tools, including a 10W diode laser cutter/engraver, a 3D printer, and a professional printing service for the cards and boxes. The board and tiles are hand-painted and sealed after laser engraving.

What do you need from me to get started?

First, we’ll need a list of family members to be included, along with a photo (or cartoon if you already have one) of each face. We’ll be in contact for more info as needed.

Is there a discount for ordering more than one game?

If you are ordering multiple copies of the SAME game, then yes, each additional copy after the first is only $100. If the games are distinct, each will require the full set-up price. If you have a unique circumstance where most of the games are the same with only minor tweaks between copies, let us know and we’ll work out a compromise.

Do you offer other games besides Acorn Quest?

More games are in active development, but are not quite ready. Stay tuned.
